It's Time to Loose This Pooch!

So recently I have been fed up with the weight plateau that I have hit! I have lost all the baby weight, but now I need to loose the last 10 lbs of baby fat left over and the 10 lbs that should have been lost before I got pregnant. Ya know the comfort I've been married for 3 years weight!! I have been really nervous about trying to diet while breastfeeding. I do not want to diminish my milk supply. However  have found this amazing website/blog that I am obsessed with Fit to be Pregnant and it has made me feel so much better about calorie counting and loosing this pooch! This is day one of my 20lb weight challenge :)

Fallon at 3 Months

Homemade Noodles!

Ingredients:

2 c. All Purpose Flour
2Tb Olive Oil
3Tb Water
3 Eggs
Salt (optional)

Directions:

Start by placing the flour on a large working surface and create a well in the middle. The well needs to be a decent size because it will hold all the wet ingredients. Crack the eggs in the center of the well, then add the olive oil and water. Whisk the wet ingredients in the well and slowly start incorporating the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Once it is mostly incorporated you can start kneading the dough by hand adding more flour when needed to prevent sticking. Once it forms a decent ball you can start kneading for real. You will need to knead the dough for about 10-15 mins making sure to knead both sides of the dough in a circular motion. Once finished the dough should be stretchy and tacky but not sticky. Form into a solid ball and cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest for 1 hour.
Cut the ball in half and begin to roll out the dough on a well floured surface. If the dough begins to get too long cut in half and roll each 1/4 of the original dough out until it is paper thin or until desires thickness (remember they will plump a little while cooking). I then used a pizza cutter to cut out the shape I wanted. You can use any tool available or even leave in sheets for making lasagna noodles. Dust the noodles with flour to prevent sticking. This recipe will keep for about 1 week in the refrigerator.
When ready to cook. Boil a large pot of salted water and linguine will cook in about 6 mins. Super fast and totally worth it!!! Delicious and no crazy ingredients.
